The Emilio Hidalgo Pérez Municipal Sports Centre in Motril hosts the Andalusian Eastern Individual Under-12 Championship and Under-14 Combined Events, with around 350 young athletes from different parts of Andalusia.
The competition is open to the public with no conditions to attend. The Deputy Mayor for Sports, Daniel Ortega Moreno, encouraged citizens to come to the sports centre.
According to the president of the Andalusian Athletics Federation, Enrique López Cuenca, it will be the last edition with this format; next season it will be organised as an individual events competition for all of Andalusia.
