The image returned to its town last September 11 after a restoration of nearly five months in the Granada workshop of Julio Alcaraz, which included the consolidation of the wood and the recovery of the polychromy.
The carving is placed in the circle of Torcuato Ruiz del Peral, in the 18th century, and the brotherhood keeps open the hypothesis of its possible direct attribution to the sculptor.
