The XI March Against Cancer in Albolote will be held on October 18. The walk will be enlivened with zumba and dancing, and there will be a bar, popular food and raffles of products donated by local shops.
The organization hopes to exceed last year's 1,300 registrations and around 40 companies are already collaborating with the initiative, along with shops, volunteers and groups from the municipality.
The president of the organization, Carmen Rodríguez, has encouraged citizens to join a day that, beyond its sporting nature, has become "a family celebration."
