The brotherhood photography competition exhibition closes on Friday with the jury's decision

The exhibition of the Photography Contest of Semana Santa de Granada 2027 says goodbye this Friday. The Real Federación de Hermandades y Cofradías de Semana Santa de Granada has set the closing ceremony for Friday, October 30, at 20:30, in the Sala Multiusos of the Ayuntamiento de Granada, in the plaza del Carmen.
The exhibition brings together 175 photographs and can be visited until that same day. According to the call disseminated by the Federación on October 17, visiting hours are from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:30.
The jury's decision
During the closing, the secretary of the Real Federación will read the jury's minutes and the winning works in the different categories of the competition will be announced.
The jury is made up of nine members: four members of the Junta de Gobierno of the Real Federación (the vice-president, the secretary, the vocal de Arte y Ornato and the vocal de Cultura y Comunicación), four hermanos mayores of the city's hermandades and cofradías and a ninth person chosen by popular vote during the first three days of the exhibition, whose vote will have the same value as that of the rest.
What the winners receive
In section A, the photographs that will illustrate the cover of the Programa Oficial de Horarios e Itinerarios de la Semana Santa de Granada 2027 are chosen, endowed with 400 euros; the cover of the magazine Gólgota de Cuaresma de 2027, with 200 euros; and the cover of the Pregón Oficial de la Semana Santa de Granada 2027, with 100 euros. In addition, three accésits of 50 euros will be awarded for the inside pages of the official programme.
In section B, the photograph for the cover of the Programa-Guía de Cuaresma 2027 is chosen, with a prize of 200 euros, and three accésits of 50 euros for the inside pages.
The works are assessed for their aesthetic and compositional quality, their originality and their ability to reflect the essence and beauty of the Semana Santa de Granada, according to the criteria of the competition rules.

The exhibition can be visited until Friday, October 30, in the Sala Multiusos of the Ayuntamiento de Granada, in the plaza del Carmen, from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:30. Entry does not require prior registration according to the information disseminated by the Real Federación.
