Baza renovates the playgrounds of Los Prados and la Constitución

The Ayuntamiento de Baza has finished the renovation of the playgrounds of the Parque de Los Prados and the Parque de la Constitución, within the Plan de Mejora de Parques Infantiles, and continues working in other areas of the city.
The playgrounds of the Parque de Los Prados and the Parque de la Constitución in Baza are available for use again. In the first, all the play elements, such as seesaws, swings and slides, have been renovated and modernized, improving the possibilities for fun and the safety of the minors who use them daily.
New surface and perimeter fence
In the Parque de la Constitución the surface has been replaced and a new perimeter fence has been installed, which according to the Ayuntamiento is more suitable, more visually attractive and easier to maintain.
Upcoming actions
The plan continues in other spaces, such as those located in the barrio de la Huerta del Pino and on the carretera de Benamaurel, where maintenance work and renovation of materials and play elements will be carried out. When these works are finished, other areas will be addressed.
The concejala de Urbanismo, Mª Carmen López, has stated that «una importante inversión en los parques infantiles, que presentaban una imagen bastante lamentable e incluso importantes desperfectos que ponían en peligro su utilización» is being made. According to her, residents are being listened to and their requests attended to, and she trusts that at the end of the legislative term the places where children play will be in perfect condition.
The alcalde de Baza, Pedro J. Ramos, and the concejala herself have visited the new features in both children's spaces.
