The Diputación brings together in Granada the culture and gastronomy of the 174 municipalities

The first edition of SOMOS 174 will be held on December 10, 11 and 12 at the Palacio de Congresos de Granada to showcase the heritage, gastronomy and tourism of the towns and cities of the province.
The 174 municipalities of the province of Granada will have a common space to showcase what makes them unique. The Diputación de Granada has presented SOMOS 174. Granada, a province to discover, an event to be held on December 10, 11 and 12 at the Palacio de Congresos de Granada.
Three days open to the province
During those three days, the event will revolve around the culture, gastronomy, traditions and tourism of each locality. According to the Diputación, the aim is for the municipalities to be the protagonists and to be able to share their singularities, their stories and their main attractions, as well as to foster mutual knowledge between territories.
The provincial institution states that the initiative seeks to bring the richness of a diverse territory closer to the people of Granada and to strengthen the feeling of belonging to the province. The deputy María Vera has indicated that «this project will only make sense with the involvement of our town councils and of all the agents that contribute to keeping the identity of our municipalities alive».
Continuity of the project
The Diputación is promoting this first edition with the intention that SOMOS 174 will have continuity over time and become established as a regular event for the province. The presentation was given by the deputy for Presidency, Provincial Strategic Projects, Management of Cultural Assets and Demographic Challenge, María Vera.
