The ETSIIT holds the ceremony for the laying of the first stone of its new building, with a prior media call, welcome words and presentation of the project, institutional speeches and the laying of the first stone with a time capsule containing plans, the day's newspapers, coins, a technological device and the signed minutes.
The new building will have 7,736 square metres built over four floors above ground and a basement, with classrooms, seminar rooms, laboratories and workspaces, as well as a car park for 50 vehicles and a connecting walkway to the current building.
