The Archbishopric of Granada, the Royal Federation of Brotherhoods and Confraternities of Holy Week and the Granada City Council have agreed, after a coordination meeting, that the transfers of the Kerygma images will take place next November 28 at 9:00. The published news item set the departure at 10:00; the statement moves that time to 9:00.
The three institutions explain that the decision responds to the shared wish to facilitate the best development of the transfers, guarantee adequate coordination of the municipal services involved and the internal activity of the Cathedral.
The date is, for now, the main working option. Its holding will depend on various circumstances, especially weather conditions and possible objections from the Junta Electoral due to the occupation of public roads during the electoral period.
The Real Federación considers Saturday, December 5 as an alternative date if any circumstance prevents the transfers on November 28. That second possibility remains only as a forecast, according to the president of the Real Federación, Armando Javier Ortiz, during the Pleno de Hermanos Mayores held on the evening of Tuesday, October 20.
Routes and setups
In the coming weeks, progress will be made on planning the routes and organizing the setups of the parihuelas, work that will be spread across days to facilitate its development. The comisario de Kerygma will hold meetings with the participating hermandades to coordinate organizational aspects and prepare the transfers.
The Real Federación will continue to inform the hermandades and the cofrades of the news about the organization, the itineraries and the development of the transfers once the pending aspects are finalized.
