The Teatro Municipal de Alhendín hosts the first Montevive Folklore Festival Villa de Alhendín, a journey through tradition by way of music, poetry and dance.
The centerpiece is «Lorca, el pulso sonoro de una ciudad», a show that revives the songs that Federico García Lorca collected in his 1933 lecture and blends them with live music.
The dance group Sway will bring movement to the music and Almirez will perform as a guest, with sounds of the Sacromonte and Granada folklore. It is organized by the Asociación Musical Montevive.
